Daijiworld Media Network - Udupi (MS)

Udupi, Jun 14: The girl, who went missing from Malpe on Wednesday, was found in Shivamogga district along with the youth.

The police, who took the case seriously, took swift action and brought both the youth Azhar, and the girl from Shivamogga to Malpe police station on Saturday June 13 and conducted inquiry. Both have been sent to their respective houses after taking an undertaking from them.

The 18-year-old girl, who was living in her relative's house in Malpe had gone missing under mysterious circumstances on Wednesday. A few Hindu organizations had accused that Azhar had kidnapped the girl.

Azhar

The girl, who is a resident of Brahmavar, got acquainted with Azhar, who is a bus driver and a resident of Santhekatte. They later got themselves registered at the marriage registrar’s office of Udupi. However, the parents of the girl, who noticed the photo of the girl on the notice board of the marriage registrar's office had advised the girl against the same. Then the girl was kept in her relative's house. However, the girl had gone missing suddenly on Wednesday from the house of the relative.

I got to know from, Bandarkar, Langoolacharya, and few others (including you) who have felt my
temporary absence from Daiji portal, all because of Covid 19 stress. I had few misfortunate moments during this three month period and all my interests had been snatched away. Finally, i came out from the nut shell and presently enjoy commenting in this forum. (especially love matters are my interesting subject)
You were someone who is special to me because my college days there was one Cynhia in my life too.
Let us be good friends and cherish the moments. Bhandarkar is the first one with whom I shared most of the comments but due to political point of view we kept some distance. Bhandu boss I have good feelings and respect for you. Cheers.

When i dig deep into this article , i find many lapses and bias , so m forced yo write again and again .

    1. The pics of boy is been circulated as he is a criminal !! , girls pic is kept secret as per law but why tarnish boy ? , isnt it gender bais .

    2. The present system of registered marriage is porn to misuse , as it has waiting period for 1 month , so in this period hypocrite parents from either family create havoc , and this adds the total misery of couple as their marrisge its not done , parents can harrass couple using police or some other means.
so its better couple use personal law or religious marriages instead of court marriages ( which they can do subsequently when things calm down ) , since its quick amf marriage becomes valid within hours , then if parents take away girl , boy can move courts for custody of his wife . For muslims 1939 The sharia act , and for hindus simple temple marriages r very quick and valid ( under constitution ) , but for christians its worse and have to wait for months , and priests will squeeze pocket with all means , as there r many procedures involved .

@Roshan, come back to earth, smell the coffee and get educated yourself to understand the reality on how people are living within the boundary of religion and caste system in Indian society. Still marriage happens between families in middle class, not just between get boy and girl. Do you think Hindu boy can marry a girl from Muslim religion in India without blood shed?, forget about marriage, can he talk to her in the middle of the street in a town?. This might take another two centuries to pass all these.

Yes communal harted is very evident in costal Karnataka .

Its best if couple surrender themselves in front of first calss magistrate or to go courts fot protection . They can leave the place and stay far , and use courts injection if parents come in search of them or use kidnapping clauses. Going to another state and asking higher authority of help of that state is also another option .

What's the point of all the education if this is the level of thinking? Two adults taking decisions for themselves is backed by the law, interfering and doing this nonsense is not the solution. The girl will be married now to some unknown poor guy and later either she will continue the affair and run away. This new guys whis simply dragged in the story will end up depressed and kill himself for no mistake of his. All cos of of educated rabied people in our society who want to control everyones lives. The ones who want their daughters to be leashed even while sending to schools and colleges.

See , many girls now a days have bf , then why cant they opt for marriage ?! , if you really wants girls not to stray with unknown boys , then ensure they get married earliest , then send her to college ( education ) . I have seen many families who empower their girls and do not think about their marriage , then repent when such things happen . See , harmones r natural , you cant supress it

You may be having a good heart & your love is true and you are ready to die for that girl.

We have gone through those stages. However, the time you are in now is dangerous, gone are the days where you can fall in love and get married without much hassle.

Marriage is not just about the two individuals but  between two families. Wherever the marriage took place without parents blessings had to struggle a lot to live a normal life.

Time for you to safeguard your parents and your life. Do not be selfish by only keeping yourself happy.

Many girls fall-prey to the bus drivers & Auto rickshaw drivers. Don't understand why??

This is happening or taking place since time memorial.
There are incidents that some rich family daughter ran away with resident drivers but regretted later when faced by difficulties and poor living conditions.

Lan... Sir, Flavian says, rich ladies who ran with drivers regret later on.....why to regret? They should cooperate with the husband and lend her helping hand to have a happy married life. Yet there are some ladies who ran like this are leading good life even in their little income. Tell me, ladies married to a rich guy/educated guy/respected guy do not come back or gets divorced? Even men who marry beautiful girls/rich/educated/understanding/adjustable ladies don't divorce and settle with others?? Do only run away ladies suffer or others suffer too?

    Cynthi,

Happiness is 'State of Mind'....not depending on any one factor like wealth, Health, Status, Beauty / Handsomeness, Education etc....perhaps a combination of all these and many more things unknown to me....which we call CHEMISTRY....which is still a MYSTERY to me...

I won't say those women who ran away will lead a miserable life...nor I will say those married women who are loyal to their husbands are happy....

Life is a mixed bag...full of unexpected turns like Hindi movies... Nobody can predict the end until it really END...like we cannot our own death....

People support for such things if it happens to Cinema or it has nothing to do with them. If the same thing happens in their family they are leaving no stone un turned to take the girl back. Such marriages should not be supported as it is very difficult for family and themselves due to our custom bound society and culture. It makes the life of parents and other members of family hell.

Shanker Mangalore,Dear Shanker ,Just because she is become 18 years, doesnt mean she is a adult in every way.One has to think and act-she was not in her parents house, never informed parents.Just run behind a man whom she knew from bus ,never know futures plan without education and any work?why run ?When one loves a person can wait ,act wisely ,take a step after long thinking. One who take a step without thinking also will be very soon land on earth faster than allowed.what if he was already married or children ?where is his home and parents? When he gives talaq where will she go?All these steps too are important.she is only 18.why did she do that?how many of them later landed in Syrian?did she think it?If the boy was so in love would ask parents and not run ,wait and plan a future.

As it mentioned she was studying , and she will certainly continue her education even after marriage . Drivers r not capable enough to feed their family ?! , Waiting ?! , what for , she is 18 and able to make her decisions . See , no one bats an eye when girls get intimate and havd bf , then hide it and marry someone else ( after waiting period for years !! ) , here girl took wise decision to marry earliest , and then continue her relationship , then why everyone is triggered ?! , if anyone is not comfortable girls enticing and running away , then ensure they get married at the earliest and then send them to college , as simple as that ..
