Mangaluru, Jun 17: A creative project by Dony Correa, a name known for quality, creativity and innovative thinking is all set to be released on Friday, June 19.
OKKD is a soulful song that depicts the pain and agony of migrant workers of India who underwent immense suffering during the lockdown.
In spite of the ongoing restrictions, the song has been compiled by a team from Mangaluru, Kerala and Dubai. Dony Correa promises his fans a soulful song with meaningful lyrics, soothing tune, melodious singing and a heart-touching video that will be cherished by Konkani lovers. "It is a perfect recipe of melody, harmony, music and acting," Dony added.
Dony penned down an emotive lyrics as the voice of migrant workers while Roshan D'Souza sprinkled freshness of his music with the help of live instruments. Shilpa Cutinha rendered her melodious magical voice for the song and has done 100 per cent justice to it. Asha Correa, a well-known name in the field of acting, has portrayed the pain of a migrant worker along with her daughters Deona Rebecca and Delisha Ruth.
Dony Correa is confident that Konkani music lovers will provide him with the usual support and cherish the song.
The heart touching song has been composed, produced and directed by the talented duo of Dony and Asha Correa. The melodious music arrangement and the lead and rhythm guitarist is Roshan D’Souza Anjelore, Shilpa Cutinha has provided her magical voice to the song. The tune for the music is by Dony Correa and Roshan D’Souza. It has been mixed and mastered by Nithin Koottungal of Orpheus Studio Designs. While the vocals have been recorded at Studio 5 in Mangaluru. The video features talented, Asha Correa, Deona Rebecca and Delisha Ruth. Jostin D’Sa and Roystan D’Souza handled the DOP and editing. While Clanwin Fernandes of Vinyas Tent served as the designer, Melwin Kalaakul did the makeup.
