Wife, daughter of Udupi’s second corona casualty test positive

Udupi, Jun 20: The wife and daughter of the person who died on June 18 due to coronavirus have tested positive on Saturday June 20. The person was the second one to die due to coronavirus in the district. 

It may be recalled, a person had arrived here on Thursday June 18 afternoon along with his wife, daughter, and another person. At Udupi, their health was checked with a thermal scanner and none among these four displayed any coronavirus symptoms. Therefore they were prescribed home quarantine.

But on Thursday evening, the 54-year-old person breathed his last at his home all of a sudden. His coronavirus test result was positive. Thereafter, his 45-year-old wife and 24-year-old daughter were tested and both tested positive for this disease. Both of them stand admitted into the COVID hospital here by the health department.

The fourth person who was with them has tested negative.

    How can you judge a person having corona with Thermal scanning. It is used to check the temperature. Only thru swab test we can find out whether a person is Negative or Positive.
