Taking cue from what the legislators said, Yediyurappa has instructed the ministers to inform the concerned legislators and MLCs in advance before undertaking tours of their constituencies. He also advised them to keep the district president and other leaders abreast of their plans. He also told them to make efforts to help the legislators when they visit the ministers for some work.

The MLAs who had met the BJP state president on Thursday night had expressed their predicament at not being able to get the officer who vibes to their requirements in their places because of cancellation of general transfers. They had complained that including the chief minister, other ministers are not helping them out with their problems and that they do not get to know the tour programme of ministers. They reportedly lamented the fact that the staff at the offices of some ministers do not even show minimum courtesy to MLAs when they visit these offices.

The party sources said that legislature party meeting will be convened in the background of the above development, as soon as the coronavirus issue comes under control.
