132 test positive, J&K COVID-19 tally crosses 6,000


Jammu, Jun 22 (IANS): Another 132 people tested positive in Jammu & Kashmir on Monday as the total number of COVID-19 patients crossed 6,000 in the Union territory.

A statement issued by the information and public relations department said 132 tested positive, 10 from Jammu division and 122 from Kashmir division, as the total number of COVID patients reached 6,088 in J&K.

So far, 85 people have died due to the dreaded virus and 3,531 have recovered completely.

The number of active cases is 2,472 in J&K of which 544 are in Jammu division and 1,928 are in Kashmir division.
