Manjula Naidu is New Chief for Karnataka Congress Women’s Wing


Bangalore,Feb 19 (DHNS): The Congress party has appointed former deputy mayor Manjula Naidu president of Karnataka State Women Congress Committee. She has replaced former minister Rani Satish.  

The party continued Rani Satish in the position even after completing three-years’ term.

Manjula Naidu, 40, an MA, LLB and MBAS has been associated with the Congress since her college days. She joined the student wing of the Congress when she was 17. She contested from Tasker Town ward of BMP in 1990 and became deputy mayor of the corporation. She was chairperson of Balabhavan in Bangalore during S M Krishna’s rule.
