As the saying hoes...You pat my back, i pat yourback. All publicity stunts to cover up the mis management of the spread. The govt / authorities have to lead by example... not set rules for others and violate the same rules them selves. Focus on containment and minimize the spread by adopting strict lockdown measures, close down malls, shops, etc and avoid crowding, strict action on violations . Bangalore is in the limelight for all the wrong reasons...Get your act right and if the results show then expect the returns. not cheap staged publicity

Central teams have been praising states which have BJP Govts in power. Kerala which gained recognition even from the world body like WHO has not been praised or appreciated even once. What happened with Modi's assurance that Covid will be tamed with 21 days Lockdown.

Modi has washed his hands of the Pandemic and has now left it to the states after the situation has got out of control.

The correct and easy method was to implement a strong policy to send people home first and then lockdown. But here is a highly ill planned lock down that has not given any positive results, just wasted time and loss of jobs. It is not about the cases coming down, but it is about how we could have avoided them in the first place.
