Mangalore, Feb 24: ‘Orchid Art Gallery’, Balmatta here will organize a solo exhibition of paintings, ‘Nurturing life’ by Vasant Rao.
The preview will be held on Saturday February 27 at 5.30 pm. Loretta Rebello, president Ladies Club, Mangalore will do the inauguration. The exhibition will be open till March 6.
About Vasant Rao
Vasant Rao is an artist based in Udupi. He has around 20 art shows and ten art camps to his credit. He worked towards promoting art in Udupi through conducting art exhibitions and get-togethers. Varnotsav, Yaksha Varna, Varnashree are some of the shows he organized. He also writes articles for newspapers on art exhibition and works of art.
His art works have been exhibited in eight solo shows and Nurturing life is the ninth one with a series of painting on a single theme.
