Mangalore: Kinnigoli Marathon-2010 on Feb 28

Mangalore, Feb 27: Kinnigoli Marathon – 2010 will be held on Sunday February 28 here With the purpose of creating awareness on nature, importance of trees and plants.

The marathon that begins from Kinnigoli Church grounds at 8.00 am and will wind up at the same venue at 12.00 noon. The marathon will traverse a distance of 7.5 kms traversing Kinnigoli bus-stand – Gutthakad – Damaskatte – Pompei College – MooruKaveri. The first and second prize winners will take home Rs 3,333 and Rs 2,222, respectively while three consolation prizes that carries Rs 555 as cash prize too will be distributed.

The marathon is organized in association with Rotary Club, Kinnigoli , Rotaract Club, Kinnigoli, Lions Club, Kinnigoli, Pompei College, Aikala, Pompei college NCC, NSS, M R Punja ITI, Tapovana, Tokur, Indian Catholic Youth Movement deanery, Ujwal Stree Sanghatan and Catholic Sabha, Kinnigoli.

    marathon is good sports & also good for health i wish that,i expirience that sports by myself to help my country in preventing tree and green saroundings.....
