Coronavirus claims Udupi’s 9th victim after 80-year-old man passes away

Udupi, Jul 17: The district recorded yet another death due to coronavirus infection on Friday, July 17. The deceased person who passed away due to the virus was being treated at a private hospital in Kundapur.

The corona-positive individual was admitted for respiratory problems. As per sources, the man who was 80 years of age was a native of Kirimanjeshwara.
 
The hospital in Kundapur was also considering shifting the man to a private hospital in Manipal after his condition turned critical. However, due to technical reasons, it was not possible. 

With this death, the toll in Udupi district has risen to nine.
