Bengaluru: Department plans YouTube live video classes for second PU students

Bengaluru, Jul 22: To enable second PU students to maintain continuity in learning, the department of PU education in the state will begin live video classes on YouTube from July 23 onwards. Every day, four periods of 45 minutes duration each will be conducted.

The principals and lecturers have been advised to see that the lessons which will be conducted between 9 am and 12 pm reach the students through http://www.youtube.com/c/dpuedkpucpa link. Director in the department of PU education, M Kanagavalli, said that students who do not have smartphones, laptops, internet facility etc need not worry as these classes will again be taught by the lecturers once the colleges begin to function.

The department has also published a time table for these classes. The periods will be from 9 am to 9.45 am, 9.45 am to 10.30 am, 10.30 am to 11.15 am and 11.15 am to 12 noon.
