    Dear Roshan,
I too thought the same as you until I read an article written by a financial expert!
The fact is that many gullible people are of the opinion that it's a kind of loan waiver, but are unaware of the real facts!
At the end of the moratorium period, they will have to shell out the entire amount quickly along with pretty high interest! So, it was advisable to pay the EMIs on time, monthly, unless/otherwise the person doesn't have money! The debtor is only delaying the inevitable; i.e. it will be a huge burden on him when he gets the notice from the lender to pay up 4 EMIs together + interest; thats the time he will breakdown & repent for his foolishness!

Hence, I am saying many people who are jobless & penniless will have a tough time when the recovery agents come knocking on their doors!

This is result of DEMO and GST compounded by CORONA conundrum!!

    RIP!

GST & DEMO hit businesses by 30-40%; and now Corona has hit the last nail in the coffin!
Bank loan moratorium is ending August end; after that one should expect a lot of defaults! If the debtor is over leveraged then there is no option but suicide as recovery agents will make life hell for the lenders!

Post lockdown, there will be an avalanche of psychiatric problems created mostly due to financial breakdown!

moratorium should be further extended for 3 months , banks / nbfc may give stupid reasons like they will be under loss , but loss is still better than someone ending his life . Further some ordinance to imprison recovery agents if they harass too much .

Nowadays suicide has become a trend and part and parcel of life. The society easily understanding the reasons behind and hardly pay any serious attention to it... This will continue to intesify as long as bjp stay in power.

    Bro,
Have you heard of so many suicide cases in coastal Karnataka befote??
The main reason is financial breakdown due to reasons cited earlier!
Moreover a person having affinity to alcohol will start drinking more & more during times of crises to drown his sorrows!

BTW, only those who invested in bullion or hold bonds are safe, rest all have lost heavily!!

Absolutely baseless allegation. Alcoholic related problems have been persisting irrepective of GST or demonitization or Lockdown. Blaming everything on the government isn't the right thing. If it gives you satisfaction, then I understand you have done so by posting your comment. Just like we blame politicians for politicizing every issue, do remind yourself that you have done the same here. None of us know why he exactly took this step. Maybe he had person problems, financial problems, psychological problems. Dont unnecessarily blame the government by blabbering the 3-5 words that you know. There is a part of the body called BRAIN. Just do yourself a favor , switch it ON, analyse the issue and then post your comment. I am totally for giving constructive feedback to the government on several issues, but what you are doing here is just spreading dumbness.

    Pravin,
If alcohol sale and BEEF Export banned, many may have to search for a stick and a plate to go to streets.
After lockdown BJP Govt. first opened liquor shops you know that!!!!!. That is the main source of income to BJP Govt.

    Dear Naveen,
DEMO and GST paralyzed the economy; CORONA added fuel to the fire! With, delayed & totally unplanned strategies the administration has botched up everything; now the repercussions of these unintelligent decisions are surfacing!
This is just the tip of the iceberg; lots of more pain is left for the common man!
