Bantwal, Mar 8: Chaithanya Foundation, a social welfare organization functioning at the limits of St Patrick parish, Siddakatte, near here organized their 18th Blood donation camp at the parish hall here on Sunday March 7.
The camp was held in association with KMC Hospital, Mangalore and under the aegis of local voluntary organizations. Sixty four members donated their blood at the camp.
Foundation president Nigel Noronha and many other like-minded people were behind the concept of blood donation, educating and creating awareness on health, environmental issues and also helping the poor and needy in the society.
