Udupi: Three more coronavirus-related casualties takes district death toll to 24

Udupi, Jul 28: The district reported three more coronavirus-related deaths on Tuesday, July 28 raising the death toll to 24.

A person aged over 60 years from Yennehole, Karkala, died at KMC hospital. The person was reportedly suffering from kidney disease and rat fever. He tested coronavirus positive after his death.

Another woman from Ambalpady area passed away on late Monday evening. She was suffering from breathlessness and also tested positive for the virus on Tuesday.

The third death occurred in Karkala area. Although the person passed away a few days ago, his results arrived on Tuesday where he tested positive for coronavirus.
