Mangalore: Beary Academy to Hold Discussion on Development of Beary Language

Mangalore, Mar 10: State Beary Sahitya Academy will hold a one-day discussion on development of Beary language at Hotel Srinivas on Saturday March 13.

A press release issued by M B Abdul Rahman, chairman of the academy and registrar Chandrahas Rai, on Wednesday March 10, stated that the discussion will be on `Development of Beary Language- How and Why?’. Scholar Dr Amritha Someshwar will preside over the discussion panel.

Writers Abdul Rahman Kuttethur and U A Khasim Ullal, president of All India Beary Council B A Mohammad Haneef, president of Beary literature and cultural Association Basheer Baikampady, academy members Prof B M Ichlangod and Abdul Azeez Baikampady will be the chief guests. Academy member Rahim Uchil will conduct the programme.
