Udupi, Mar 10: Dr Y N Shetty, medical superintendent of SDM Ayurvedic Medical College and Hospital here has been nominated as the member of academic council, Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences, Bangalore.



Dr Shetty is a nature- lover and a scholar in Tulu folk art. He actively took part in the Tulu Sammelana held at Ujjire recently and Veerendra Heggade, dharmadhikari of Dharmasthala was all praise for him.
