Udupi: St Mary’s College Wins Alumni Association Cricket Match

Udupi, Mar 12:
A cricket match was held between the teams of St Mary’s Alumni Association and St Mary’s College, Shirva, at the college grounds here on Wednesday March 10.
 
Fr Richard Coelho, parish priest, Our Lady of Health, Shirva, graced the occasion.


 
Gilbert Pinto, alumnus and first batch of students, participated in the match along with other players.
 
St Mary’s College principal Dr Clarence Miranda, vice-principal Pascal D’Sa, Prof Ronald Moras and Prof Venugopal Nonda were present on the dais. 
 
Alumni Association president Melvyn Noronha, and secretary Mario Mathias were also present.
 
St Mary’s College cricket team won the tournament and a large crowd of students viewed the match.
 
Pascal D’Sa compered the programme.
