Mangaluru, Aug 3: Much awaited Bhoomi pooja at the Ram Temple in Ayodhya, Uttar Pradesh will be taking place on August 5. With the ceremony in the backdrop, as a precautionary measure, Mangaluru city police commissioner would be enforcing prohibitory orders under Section 144 in the city.

The city police commissioner, Vikash Kumar is said to have taken this step after receiving information regarding alleged protests that are being planned in the city on August 5 by Muslim organisations. 

The police commissioner's orders further stated that any violators of the orders would be facing severe actions.

    The Supreme Court of India, had passed a unanimous ruling, by a five bench judges, authorizing the construction of the Ram temple in Ayodhya, yet there is resentment, over the judgment.. Likewise there is grief against the government for the Anti Talak, CAA, removal of Article 370...... Hope and pray, that there will be no protests, or any communal unrest, in our nation !!!!

    But Ajay who are we to oppose them they have the right to do what they want. It is not the govt money it is their trusts money and all the people who contributed to it we trying to protest won't make any sense. Because of covid is construction work nt going on here in mangalore?? Everywhere it's going on let this also go on we need to respect their religion

    Construction is allowed in areas other than contaminant zones. DC of Ayodhya knows the situation prevailing there. None needs to worry here on that count.
