Now Krishna Janmabhoomi Trust set up in Mathura

Mathura (UP), Aug 6 (IANS): With the 'bhumi pujan' clearing the way for the construction of the grand Ram temple in Ayodhya, the Shri Krishna Janmabhoomi Nirman Nyas has now been set up in Mathura with 80 saints from 14 states as part of it.

Acharya Devmurari Bapu, who heads the trust, said, "We got the Nyas registered on July 23 on the occasion of 'Haryali Teej' and there are 11 saints from Vrindavan who are part of the trust."

The Acharya further said that a signature campaign will soon be launched to connect other saints and seers for the 'liberation' of the Krishna Janmabhoomi.

"After the signature campaign, we will launch a nationwide movement on the issue. We had started the campaign in February, but we did not proceed further due to the lockdown," he said.

The main dispute for the Krishna Janmabhoomi is the Shahi Idgah which is located adjacent to the Krishna Janmabhoomi Temple in Mathura.

The Trust is already laying claim to the four-and-a-half-acre land next to the mosque to use it as a 'Ranga Manch' (variety hall) for religious and cultural functions organised by it and the temple authorities.

The Vishva Hindu Parishad (VHP), since the demolition of the Babri mosque in 1992, has been claiming that 'liberation' of Krishna Janmabhoomi in Mathura and the Kashi Vishwanath temple in Varanasi is next on its agenda.

However, the Places of Worship (Special Provisions) Act, 1991, which was passed by the then Narsimha Rao government, prohibits conversion of places of worship -- like churches, mosques and temples -- into places of worship of a different religion.

Section 4 of the Act preserves the "religious character" of a place of worship, as it existed on August 15, 1947. It also says that any court proceeding regarding any such conversion would cease after the Act came into force.

However, Section 5 of the Act specifically exempted the Ram Janmabhoomi-Babri Masjid dispute, and any court proceedings concerning it.

It goes on to provide for three-year imprisonment and a fine for conversion of places of worship.

The Act was passed amid severe opposition from several BJP leaders.

"These are minor hurdles and we will cross the bridges when we come to them. Our resolve to liberate Krishna Janmabhoomi is firm," the Acharya said.

Ppl have trust in MODI that is why he and his party got such massive mandate both in 2014 and more in 2019.just because some ppl like you don't vote for him /his party that doesn't mean ppl won't trust him
Ours is democracy and he has been elected democratically and he contested in only one constituency in his 2nd term. And he is not like pappu who was forced to find a safe constituency other than his old constituency from where he was elected for more than 2 terms.that shows how much ppl trust him

If Modi is democratically won PM and people have voted him overwhelmingly then why your MLAs lose elections and then you buy those democratically won congress candidates undemocratically??????. Without EVMs and without buying other parties MLAs you will face overwhelming defeat however many temples Silanyas you put and however big Lord Ram you pretend to be.

Please give a birth place to each and every God, but please don't use taxpayers money for the purpose as it happened with Clean Ganga budget reservation. I've read that UP has already got collection of 41 Crores for building Ram Mandir. Good news. Please spare the taxes, the nation needs it.

You don't even support yours own. Therefore, stop dodging others.

India is democratic nation, running on taxpayers cost. One religion cannot spend it for the progress of heir own.

That is why we say Uniform Civil Code and ppl like you oppose UCC and now ask why different Laws? Sickulars could not bring UCC in 50 years of their rule and it is clearly mentioned in the Constitution that UCC should be implemented and reservation is also originally for just first 10 years and Khangress just played with it for vote bank politics just like 370 and 35A. BJP removed 370and 35A as promised in their Manifesto. Construction of RAM MANDIR also they full filled.

Under UCC is beef eating legal?????. Moreover abrogation of article 370 is not a big issue other than cracking a diwali fire cracker and say we exploded a bomb. It's a internal matter and nothing has changed internationally nor the Kashmir issue as per UNSC except vote bank for BJP at the cost of suffering of Kashmiris and Kashmiri Pandits.

    Din Dayal,

Your attitude does not justify your name in first place. BTW, what proof you have that your ancestors are Hindus?
    1. You do not even know the reason why Brahma, Vishnu and Shiv are not respected equally.
    2. Do you know how many avatars, does Vishnu took?
    3. Do you know the reason behind those avatars?

Do not pretend with your name ( with very respected meaning) that you know everything about religion.
