Shivamogga: ‘Mathura, Kashi temples should be liberated from mosques’ - Eshwarappa

Daijiworld Media Network – Shivamogga (EP)

Shivamogga, Aug 11: “I will not back down from my statement that Mathura and Kashi temples should be liberated from mosques, even if that means spending my entire life in prison,” said Rural Development and Panchayat Raj minister K S Eshwarappa on Tuesday August 11.

“While Mathura is the birth place of Lord Krishna, Kashi is the pilgrim centre of Lord Vishwanath. Mosques were constructed there after demolishing temples which are blessed places for crores of Hindus. Those who visit those places are reminded of slavery due to the mosques. Freedom of temples is inevitable to remove such bitter memories,” he said.

“There are thousands of mosques in the country for Muslims to offer prayers. Nobody stops them. But they should respect the sentiments of Hindus also. The sentiments are expressed in the abode of Lord Ram in Ayodhya. All should have similar feelings here too,” Eswarappa quoted.

“The freedom in the country is not for building roads, structures and bridges alone. Relief to the places of worship is the real freedom. This is not the opinion of BJP alone but crores of patriotic Hindus in Congress and JD(S) as well. There were several sacrifices for Indian culture in the past. RSS always respects such feelings,” he further added.

“State Congress president D K Shivakumar is opposing our statement just to appease Muslims. Their wish to remove me from the post of minister or to arrest me will never materialize,” he said.

    All politicians are not leaders..All
    Leaders are not politicians..
True leaders won’t play minority or majority politics
True leaders won’t ask for votes based on religion, caste or any other means to divide people
When lead by a true leader people won’t feel threatened
True leaders will be accommodative and behave with respect
True leaders don’t need PR Politics or cyber brigades
Just lead the nation towards progress and peace

He has a valid point and people must respect Hinduism and holy places of theirs. Since he know that forcefully other built the worship places on the property of kashi then court has to help him out legally build temple etc. It has happened in many countries now it is happening in India per scripture saviour is returning soon when the worlds end times near. We see many signs of pandemic, wars, natural disasters and more calamities are popping up here and there and religious differences. So either one has to worship the creator from thier heart or create war to win the battle saying my god is better than your or your god is better than my god etc. Let's pray for peace. I never seen any secular country elected representatives fight for religious matters

    Al dsouza
First tell me what do you mean by "secular" country. Indian Constitution passed in 1952 was not having the word "secular" or social "" it was added during emergency when the elected oppostion were put behind bar and o session of Parliament was called
I dua is a Demo ratic country and every one has freedom of expression until it does not harm anybody

    translated to English...

    Man, do good to others...
you live here for only 3 days...
once you die, who mentions your identity...
    people will call you "Body"...

you will be buried under the ground or
they will prepare the pyre and burn you by fire...

this fair of life is for 3 days
spend this time with smiles of happiness...
    why the mess of hate?
    Hate should be burnt...
