Bantwal, Aug 12: A policeman employed as a driver in Mangaluru Lokayukta police department committed suicide in Hassan on Wednesday.
The deceased has been identified as Lokesh (35) a resident of Mukunde in Kolnadu village.
He had rented a room in Nandagokula lodge, Channarayapatna police station limits, Hassan on Tuesday night at about 10 pm. When the room was unlocked early on Wednesday morning and Lokesh's body was found hanging in the room.
His lifeless body was then taken to Channarayapatna hospital for post-mortem.
