Panaji: Coronavirus - Four deaths, 139 new infections, 437 recovered

Panaji, Aug 24: A total of 139 people tested positive for COVID-19 infection in the state on Monday, August 24 taking the tally to 14,138, the health department said.

The official said that 437 patients were discharged from various facilities taking the number of such patients to 10,909.

“Out of 1,879 samples tested, 1,446 were negative, 139 positive while 294 reports are awaited,” the official stated.
