TN Assembly session from Sep 14 at Kalaivanar Arangam


Chennai, Sep 1 (IANS): Tamil Nadu Governor Banwarilal Purohit has summoned the next session of the state assembly on September 14.

According to the Assembly Secretary K. Srinivasan, the assembly session will be held at Kalaivanar Arangam here.

The state government has decided on a change of venue in order to maintain social distancing among lawmakers which was not possible in the Assembly.

The Assembly was adjourned on March 24 and the next session should be convened by September 24, 2020.
