Dubai shuts cafe, fines 7 firms for COVID rules violation

Dubai, Sep 12: The Dubai economy along with the Dubai Municipality and Dubai tourism shut down a cafe at Karama after the outlet defied the social distancing norms set by the authorities with regard to precautions taken against COVID.

Seven other commercial establishments got penalties for lack of wearing masks among the employees.

The Commercial Compliance and Consumer Protection (CCCP) sector in Dubai economy which is engaged in daily inspection visits showed that 274 shops and commercial establishments complied with the precautionary measures.

 

Dubai has been vigilant and ensures that all the residents in the Emirate strictly adhere to the precautionary measures toward combating the ongoing pandemic.
