London, April 9 (IANS) "Slumdog Millionaire" star Freida Pinto is "flattered" by rumours linking her to a role in the new 007 movie but insists that she is not "beautiful" enough to play a Bond girl.

"It was very flattering. I don't know if I would have done it. I am too young to be a Bond girl and you need someone more mature and beautiful than me," starpulse.com quoted Frieda as saying.

Frieda was recently reported to have signed up to play Daniel Craig's love interest in the next James Bond blockbuster, which will be directed by Sam Mendes.

A representative for the actress dismissed the rumours, confirming that Pinto has "not been approached" by Bond bosses.

    Even i thought it was rumour when it got published in the news paper 2 weeks ago. But she have that potentiall and calibre to act in bond movie. All the best Frieda. And i heard that she is basicaly from M'lore . Is that true? could anybody ans. pls.......

    I like Freida's plain talk. She feels that she is too young to be a BOND girl. It is a good thought well expressed and it is nice to see that this prodigy hailing from my City does not mince words.

    Kudos to you Freida. You have brought Honour not only to your family and friends but also to Mangalore and your well wishers like me. Please do not look back now that you have set your foot on the ladder of advancement. Once you reach the top - look at the skies because I feel that SKY IS THE LIMIT FOR YOU.

    Mr. Raj, Feida is talented. Sure there are better actors than her. But God creates every one uniquely. So u cannot compare with others. Freida is freda, others are others so respect her uniqueness

    Mr. Jovin, She let her get the offer first. This is just a rumour and Frieda pinto is not a great actor any way. Don't represent her with Indian Actor.. India has got much better actors than her.
