Sullia, Sep 30: A man, who took picture of minor girl, while bathing, assaulted her father after the mother of girl brought the same to the notice of father of the accused.

Shyam, a resident of Kalmadka village of the taluk is the accused, who was recording the video of the minor girl through the window of the bathroom at 10 pm on September 26 while she was having bath. When the mother of the victim caught Shyam in the act, she tried to snatch the mobile from him, but the accused escaped from the spot.

Later, the mother of the minor girl brought the incident to the notice of the father of accused. The accused was furious as he came to know that the matter has been informed to his father by the mother of the victim. He further tried to assault the father of the victim.

A case in this connection is registered in Bellare police station under column 10 and 14 of POCSO act of 2012 and column 354 (C) of CrPC.
