Daijiworld Media Network – Mangaluru (EP)

Mangaluru, Sep 30: Prabhakar Prabhu, a pedestrian had found a purse when he was walking near Sahyadri College here which contained a gold bullion worth more than Rs 1 lac. He told about the incident to his relative MLA Vedavyas Kamath. Soon after, on the MLA's suggestion, Mahalaxmi Jewellers proprietor Ravindra Nikkam mentioned the incident with his close friends, following which he came to know that the gold bullion found by Prabhu belonged to Krishna Achar, resident of Adyar. When contacted, Krishna Achar told Ravindra Nikkam that he had lost the gold bullion the previous day.

The handing over of the bullion took place at the office of Sevanjali Charitable Trust on Wednesday. The trust leader Hanumatha Kamath returned the gold to Krishna Achar in the presence of Prabhakar Prabhu and Ravindra Nikkam. Krishna Achar, a traditional goldsmith had bought the gold bullion to make ornaments but had unfortunately lost it on the way.

Hanumatha Kamath congratulated Prabhakar Prabhu for his honesty for returning the gold to its owner and Ravindra Nikkam who cooperated in the gesture.

To understand that you should know the lives of poor goldsmiths who are struggling to survive against the big jeweler giants who have eaten up their livelihood.
These people accumulate the wastage, buy a little gold with their savings and exchange for 24K gold from backyards of car street and bhavanthi street, where you get better bargains, but totally out of record.
Now, do you understand, what all questions to be faced by Krishna Achar if he raised a complaint with police?

What a honest soul is this Prabhaker Prabhu. Many would have certainly not given back. Now he has returned to the owner ,but something is missing here.Owner could have given atleast one percent of the value of gold bar to Prabhaker,Actuelly he deserves that.Only sweet words are not making anyone again to return suppose a chance comes.Or forgot to mention?Anyway dear Prabhu we salute your honesty.

Hard to find such people in Germany!
In that 'low crime' nation, I was mugged at 7 pm, in the narrow roads of old town between Neckar and Castle in the town of Heidelberg!!!

There are very old eateries, pubs and even Indian restaurants in that area. When you go as a tourist, you explore the city right?
Or do you recommend to get drunk and stay in the hotel when you go on tour???
