Bengaluru, Oct 2: There is a possibility of internal adjustment between JD (S) and BJP in the upcoming by-elections of Shira and Rajarajeshwari Nagar. When certain developments are noticed, this seems a possibility.

Though these bypolls have become a prestige issue for all the three leading political parties of the state, there is a likelihood of BJP and JD(S) getting together as per the saying 'My Enemy's enemy is my Friend'.

It is learnt that BJP leaders are in touch with their counterparts in JD(S) and are in the process of cooperating in Shira for JD(S) victory and getting the same cooperation from JD(S) for victory of BJP in R R Nagar.

BJP does not have much hold in Shira. It seems that the BJP leaders are calculating that their adjustment at Shira with JD(S) may get them the R R Nagar seat easily.

Hanumantharayappa, who is in JD(S) is trying to field his daughter Kusuma D K Ravi in the R R Nagar constituency as Congress candidate. In addition, it is said that, he is trying to get the support of JD(S) also. It is learnt that there is master plan of KPCC president D K Shivakumar behind this strategy.

D K Brothers have vowed to defeat Muniratna in R R Nagar. It has become a prestige issue for JD(S) to retain the Shira seat while BJP will be trying to do the same at R R Nagar. The only aim of BJP and JD(S) is to put Congress down. It is said that for the same reason H D Kumaraswamy is meeting CM Yediyurappa often.

Meanwhile, four names are proposed for Congress candidature from the R R Nagar constituency. Names of former MLA Balakrishna, Raksha Ramaiah and Priya Krishna are under consideration. Meanwhile, wife of late IAS officer D K Ravi, Kusuma has also met Adichunchanagiri Swamiji and sought his blessings. It is said that she is also an aspirant for the Congress ticket.

Speaking to reporters, after discussing the ticket issue of R R Nagar with local leaders, D K Suresh, election in-charge of the constituency, said that names of four people are proposed in the meeting. He also said that the party workers are requested to work as if D K Suresh is contesting from the constituency.
