Pranavi, Rithvik win Daijiworld Udupi’s ‘Chelva Krishna Photography Contest’

Udupi, Oct 2: The most awaited results of ‘Tinton presents Chelva Krishna Photography Contest’ conducted by Kishoo Enterprises and Daijiworld media group, Udupi, on the occasion of Sri Krishna Janmashtami, for children between 0 to 2 years and 2 to 5 years are out.

Under the junior category between 0 to 2 years, Pranavi S Kotian, daughter of Sukhesh Kumar and Lolakshi from Mangaluru won the first prize. Hiranmayee Bhat, daughter of Sudhir Bhat and Prajwali S Bhat from Udupi, and Niyathi Rajesh Naik, daughter of Rajesh Ganapathi Naik and Sushma S, resident of Udupi, bagged the second and third place respectively.

Consolation prizes were bagged by Aashvi from Matapady Brahmavar, Anvay Nayak Karkala and Arvi Shetty from Karkala.

Photos of Vidhathri Upadhya from Udupi, Akshara H Poojary from Udupi, Aradhya from Shirva and Kruthi P Salian from Udupi were appreciated by the judges.

Under the senior category between 2 to 5 years, Rithvik Bhat, son of Ramesh Bhat and Athula Bhat resident of Udupi, emerged as winner.

Adhithi Acharya, daughter of S K Ganesh Acharya and Chandana G Acharya from Beltangady, and Ankitha V Devadiga, daughter of Vinod Kumar and Amrutha secured second and third place respectively.
Consolation prizes were received by Riyanshi S Kiran Udyavara, Dhruthi D Bangera, Malpe and Advithi S, Sastana.

The photos of Atharva A Patkar, Manipal, Akanksha Nayak, Brahmavar, Prathit M Sowayaji, Kota and Aakrish K Rao, Udupi, were appreciated by the judges.

The winners will get Rs 3,333 with certificate and trophy in both categories, and Rs 2,222 and Rs 1,111 will be awarded for second and third place respectively along with certificates and mementos. Also, three consolations prizes will be given in both the categories.

The contest received outstanding response from all over from Kuwait, Kerala and even from other districts.

Renowned photographer of the city, Focus Raghu famed Raghavendra Nayak and another well known photographer Prasad Jathanna were the judges.

Focus Raghu speaking about the photography contest said, “Dressing up kids and taking photos itself is a challenge because they are very naughty and photographers need a lot of patience to catch the expressions. We have finalized the best photos based on quality, clarity, expression, emotion and creativity. All the kids were beautiful and we eliminated photos in three-four rounds by keeping technical points in mind. Participation is important in competition.” He congratulated all the winners.

The contest was sponsored by well-known resort and water park ‘Tinton’ Kundapur, powered by Divinity Solar, Karkala, and supported by Prabhu Enterprises, Santhekatte, S V Sports Center, Hiriyadka and Girija Healthcare & Surgicals, Udupi.

    My best wishes and congratulations to the Pranavi and Rithvik on winning Daijiworld Udupi's 'Chelva Krishna Photography Contest'. I am proud of the parents who did their best for preparing such young kids from 0-5 years of age. Kudos to them. I cannot forget all the other contestants and their parents. A big thanks to Daijiworld for the photo coverage of all the kids.
