"Hanehalli gram panchayat at Barkur near here was raided by Brahmavar tahsildar, district mines and geology department officials and Brahmavar police personnel, based on complaints from the general public"... my question is what these Government employees who are drawing salary from the money of General public were doing so far...!!!!???? General public has to pay for their salaries and the same general public has to give complaint on illegal activities, then why do we require these officials paid by the money of General Paublic....!!!????

Do not trust these politicians. They do not allow the civil servants to apply the law impartially. They dance according to the wishes of the likely voters, even if that meant doing injustice to others. Mafia does not function without political patronage. Now the government wants more revenue hence raid quarries and fine them in lakhs.
