Bengaluru: Appointed BJP national general secretary, C T Ravi vacates ministerial post

Bengaluru, Oct 4: Tourism minister C T Ravi has resigned from his post of state tourism minister as he has been appointed as the national general secretary of BJP.

C T Ravi had decided to resign from his post on October 2. However, he delayed the resignation as chief minister Yediyurappa was not available for contact.


It is learnt that Ravi is going to Delhi on Monday October 5 to inform the matter of his resignation to national president J P Nadda.

The organizational meeting of BJP is going to be held in Delhi on October 5 and 6. Ravi is going to take part in this meeting. The decision on accepting the resignation of C T Ravi will be taken on Monday.
