Mangaluru, Oct 5: Vishva Hindu Parishad and Bajrang Dal have warned the district administration over failure in curbing activities concerning illegal cow trafficking. The religious outfit then maintained that if nothing was done in the matter, they would take it to the streets protesting against such activities. Bajrang Dal also asserted that the district administration would be held liable for any of the consequences which may occur during the protests.

Addressing media here on Monday, VHP regional secretary Sharan Pumpwell said, "There is a rise in cattle theft, the district administration should take this seriously and work to curb the cattle theft and slaughter. Several cases have been filed in various station limits in this matter. Earlier, a tempo was being used for transporting illegal cattle, now various cars like a Swift or an Innova are also being used. There is a huge network of cow mafia which is at work here. We demand that the police department form a special squad to control the transportation of illegal cattle."

"Stringent action should be taken against those who were involved in the illegal transportation of cattle on October 4. Over six calves had fallen from the said vehicle. The cattle were being illegally transported to the slaughterhouse at Kudroli," he added.

Bajrang Dal regional convenor Bhujanga Kulal, district secretary Shivanand Mendon, district vice president Manohar Suvarna, Pradeep Pumpwell and Guruprasad Ullal were present.

When cow falls into the well they forget the mother and Asif Mulki comes for rescue.
Find the cow thieves from your own group or isolate and quarantine all the BDs to some other places for atleast 15 days you will see descending curve soon.
