Raped 6-year-old dies in Delhi, protests in Aligarh

Aligarh (Uttar Pradesh), Oct 6 (IANS): A six-year-old girl raped in Iglas in Aligarh about 10 days back by her cousin, died in a Delhi hospital on Tuesday.

The girl belonged to Hathras but had been living with her maternal aunt after her mother died last year. She was taken to Delhi for treatment after her condition deteriorated.

SSP Aligarh G. Muniraj has suspended the Station House Officer of Iglas for laxity in arresting the accused.

 

The family placed the minor's body at the Sadabad-Baldev road and staged a demonstration, demanding the arrest of the accused and family and also the guilty police personnel.

Senior officials have reached the spot to pacify the protestors.

    Yogi should do religious preaching and principles of humanity including importance & the value of a girl in the house and in the society. Only politics or power will not help in achieving desired goals when the country is demoralized by these rape culture.

    There is no safe place now in India for women and girls.
    UP is the biggest example for rape cases.Girls parents are more
    worried now till the girl come back home when she
    goes to school/college/work. Almighty GOD please
    protect all the women/girls safe under your wings.

    Hello my dear, No one garlanded, protected , destroyed evidence, burned the body of rape victim with petrol without allowing her family to see her, seized the mobile phones, documents of her family members, either Kerala C M or the rapists, made her parents like house arrest, blocked all the ways to victims home to anyone even media persons .. Have some common sense and humanity ..
