New Delhi, Oct 26: Crude oil prices declined on Monday after rising nearly $3 in the previous session, as continued Houthi attacks on Saudi Arabia heightened concerns over global energy supplies.
US West Texas Intermediate (WTI) crude futures fell $1.60, or 1.55%, to $101.67 per barrel by 0018 GMT. Brent crude futures dropped $1.56, or 1.34%, to $115.16 per barrel.
Prices had settled nearly $3 higher on Friday following Houthi attacks in Saudi Arabia that raised concerns over potential disruptions to energy supplies. For the week, Brent crude gained 6%, while WTI rose 2.3%.

Tensions continued over the weekend, with the Houthis claiming to have targeted a Saudi airport and oil facilities on Saturday. Saudi Arabia said on Sunday that it had intercepted additional missiles and drones.
The attacks have heightened concerns over the security of critical energy infrastructure in the world's largest oil-exporting country, with any prolonged disruption potentially affecting global crude supplies.
Saudi Arabia partially resumed operations at its main airport on Sunday after damage caused during an earlier round of Houthi attacks. The move came even as the militant group vowed to continue targeting the facility.
The latest developments have kept energy markets on edge, with traders monitoring the security situation in Saudi Arabia and the potential impact of further attacks on oil production, transportation and exports.
