Kundapur, Oct 8: Passengers in a car had providential escape after the car in which they were travelling fell into a pond as the driver lost the control of the vehicle.
The mishap occurred near Barkur of Kundapur taluk. The driver of the car lost the control and car fell into the pond suddenly. Presence of mind of all the occupants in the car saved their lives as they came out before the car could get completely submerged in water.
Family of Koodly Ramakrishna was travelling from Yadthadi to Bandimutt. It fell into the roadside pond as it swerved out of the road area. All those in car opened the doors of the car and came out.
The car was lifted from the pond with the help of locals. Kota police arrived on the spot and took further action.
