New Delhi, Oct 8 (IANS): Union Minister for Consumer Affairs, Food and Public Distribution, Ram Vilas Paswan, who was admitted to a private hospital here for the last several days, passed away on Thursday evening, his family members said. He was 74.

The news of his demise was announced by his son Chirag Paswan, who tweeted: "Father, now you are no more in this world but wherever you are, you will be with me. Miss you papa..."

Ram Pasvanji, Rest in eternal peace !!! I don't want to be disrespectful, yet this LJP leader, was a true chameleon !! Switched allegiance n was in incredible opportunist !!! His party was run by a family, like many illustrious families, who are active in our political spectrum !!! I wish to mention our son of the soil Shri George Fernandes, who single handedly won Muzaffarpur lok Sabha constituency in Bihar, despite
being in jail !!! without any family fifedom... He is the only leader from Karnataka who could ever win a seat in Mumbai and in Bihar hindi heartland !!!!

It's natural..... he started his party, brought his son into politics.... he left early to start party there.... in few years his son will join his party . When he was alive he took all opportunity to jump and support ruling parties who opposes dynasty politics by others but he and his group is doing also dynasty politics.
