Mangaluru, Oct 9: Excise inspector Seema and sub-inspectors Prathibha G, Kamala H N along with staff Santhosh Kumar, Sunil Byndoor, Umesh H, Kumar, Vinita, Sandeep Kumar and Manmohan of the Mangaluru south zone conducted raids in the areas of the south zone 1 on October 8 under directions from deputy commissioner of Excise, Dakshina Kannada and guidance from Excise superintendent and deputy superintendent.

The team confiscated 150 grams of MDMA drugs, 100 grams ganja and a two-wheeler. They also arrested Allen, Vivek, Amritha Vas, Sachin, Rohan and Nabha on charges of consumption of the drugs.
The officials also registered over seven cases against the accused in this connection.
