Kasargod: Rising coronavirus cases - DC Sajith Babu extends prohibitory orders till Oct 16

Kasargod, Oct 9: As coronavirus has been spreading through contacts, district deputy commissioner Dr D Sajith Babu has extended prohibitory orders under Section 144 till October 16 in Manjeshwar, Kumble, Badiadka, Kasargod, Vidyanagar, Melparamba, Bekal, Hosadurga, Nileshwar and Chandera police station limits along with Parappa, Odayanchal and Panathady market places.

Earlier witnessing the rise in the number coronavirus cases, prohibitory orders were enforced in Kerala from October 3 to October 31. Meanwhile, minor relaxations were allowed in Kasargod. Initially, the prohibitory orders in the district were announced till October 9. However, as the cases continue to be on the rise the duration of the prohibitory orders has been extended till October 16.
