Chikkamagaluru: ‘Declare 2020 as year without exams’ - MP Shobha Karandlaje

Daijiworld Media Network - Chikkamagaluru (MS)

Chikkamagaluru, Oct 10: Udupi-Chikkamagaluru MP Shobha Karandlaje said that 2020 is a year of saving lives and it should be declared as a year without exams.

Speaking to scribes in the city, Shobha said, "PM Modi had said that let us save lives first and then live life. So let us save lives and later think of leading life. At present, under no circumstances the schools should be reopened. There is no objection to continue online classes."

"Including Karnataka, throughout the country, many teachers have died. Teachers are the resource of the country. Government should be concerned about them also. It is the duty of the government to protect the lives of teachers. In addition, the parents are not in a frame of mind to send their children to school. It is not right to get children infected," said Shobha.

Politicians do not get anything from schools like kickbacks. If Malls, Theatres and etc are opened the politicians get a good commission from them.

This is the best time to change the school, college and income tax accounting years to Jan-Dec.All confusion of writing 2 years into one will go away, students all over India will then be appearing for year end and competitive exams in December rather than March-April ,in December the climatic conditions will be much better.

As soon as our CM Yediyurappa anounced saying that there is no hurry in opening schools, our Shobakka all of a sudden appeared now and saying something which is not relevant to her. She should have mentioned about this much earlier. Just for creating sympathy she appeared and given this statement. Even anybody can say that dont open schools and colleges and promote all the students. Again she would appear after 3 - 4 moths.
