Bengaluru, Oct 11: After the State Government’s decision to suspend the 'Vidyagama' education programme in view of the Covid pandemic, Chief Minister B S Yediyurappa on Sunday has issued a direction to senior government officials to grant interim holidays of three weeks to all schools in the State in the interest of protecting the health of students and teachers.

The interim holidays will be from October 12, 2020 to October 30, 2020.

The Chief Minister, has in his direction to the senior officials for issue of the necessary orders, copies of which have been released to the media, said he had taken the decision of granting interim holidays of three weeks after knowing that many of teachers had been affected by the COVID 19 pandemic.

Yediyurappa has also extended his Dasara festival greetings to all students and the teaching community.

Earlier in the day, JD(S) leader and former chief minister H D Kumaraswamy had criticised the state government for cancelling the interim holidays for teachers, who, he pointed out, had not only worked hard on Covid duty but also risked their lives in returning to schools.

Yeddy's chaddi is totally in the hand of HD Kumaraswamy. Whatever he says this old crook agrees.

There are serious internal differences in state BJP. They want to kick this old buddy out. That is why he is saying haudu basava haudu to the most crooked man HDK.

This proves that every Dog has his day. Bacchali janara party cannot survive on its own though they bought MLAs with demonetization money and formed governement through backdoor methods.
