Bengaluru: Police shoot at man who kidnapped, raped four-year-old girl

Bengaluru, Oct 12: The police on Monday October 12 opened fire at a person who allegedly kidnapped a four-year-old girl and raped her.

Dinesh, who has been accused of kidnapping a four-year-old girl on Sunday October 11 and raping her, was fired at on his leg by Sunil Naik, inspector of Srirampura police station here.

Dinesh has been admitted to hospital with injuries.

The incident took place at Vatal Nagaraj Road.

Dinesh has been accused of abducting the child from Majestic area on Sunday afternoon. He had thereafter sexually assaulted the girl. The condition of the child is serious and she is being treated in a hospital.

The accused, had allegedly raped the child after taking her to a deserted spot. He thereafter had absconded. The police were on the hunt for him since Sunday afternoon.

    This man was fired at on his leg. Firing at the leg is generally to prevent the culprit from running and not to kill him. If they have to kill, police are trained where to shoot.

    Shooting on the rapist depends on which political Political Party or cast he belongs to . 

    Even if Police shoots the rapist there will be thousands of uneducated & now educated also will come on the road protesting for shooting their beloved Nethas relatives.
    The police will then have to run for his life.
