Cabinet reshuffle proof of govt's failure in handling Covid: Karnataka Congress

Bengaluru, Oct 12 (IANS): Launching a scathing attack on the ruling BJP, the Karnataka Congress said on Monday that chief minister B S Yediyurappa reshuffling the cabinet by changing the health minister is proof of the government's miserable failure in handling the Covid-19 pandemic.

B Sreeramulu was divested of the health and family welfare portfolio by Yediyurappa on Monday and it was allocated to medical education minister K Sudhakar.

Taking to Twitter, Karnataka Pradesh Congress Committee president D K Shivakumar said, "The cabinet reshuffle done by CM @BSYBJP is proof of this government's miserable failure in handling Covid-19."

The fact that the health minister has been changed in the middle of the pandemic crisis is a case in point that the Congress' allegations ever since the pandemic broke out were true, he added.

"We have been charging that Karnataka government's incompetency has led to massive loss of life and livelihood," Shivakuamr said in another tweet.

It's all depends on people who support which Political Party they want.... If you support NDA,.... excellent way of handling of COVID.... If you support CONGiss....total failure of COVID handling....
In fact.... there is no question of failure or success story.... Truth is, till date COVID doesn't have curing medicine.... Only we can do is... assume and take self responsibility of social distance & mask
Moreover who or which Astrologer predicted that Year 2020 is the disaster for whole world because of COVID virus???
Funny part is...first we don't listen and follow the guidance issued by the Govt... and then blame same Govt for everything... This is called our freedom of everything we want!!!

Very true. A glaring failure in handling COVID 19 by the GOI and GOK. No more beating drums. Time to beat our chest and wail. Virologists have predicted after Dasara and Deepawali there is going to be a 60% jump in COVID 19 cases in Karnataka because of the failure in social distancing, wearing masks and hand hygiene. God save us.

In the beginning itself this health minister portfolio should not have been given to Ramulu. Is he capable to handle this medicine portfolio. BSY has taken a good and right decision. By changing him, BSY has saved many lives from Covid 19.
