Mangaluru: Beef in milk van was being transported from Hassan

Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Oct 14: The beef that was being transported illegally in a milk van and found out by Bajrang Dal activists on Tuesday October 13 morning was being transported to the city from Hassan.

The activists who got information about this illegal operation, tried to stop the vehicle at Pumpwell Circle. But the driver continued to drive the vehicle towards the State Bank Circle. The activists chased the vehicle right from the Pumpwell circle and succeeded in stopping it near the Milagres church. Two persons inside the vehicle fled, while the vehicle driver, identified as Shamir from Kodical here, was arrested. The police are searching for the absconding accused.

The vehicle had about a quintal of beef. This stock has been taken over. Bunder police sub-inspector Vijay Raj, traffic station inspector Gopalakrishna Bhat and Bunder assistant sub-inspector Harish and others participated in the operation.

The police, who had started taking stern action against illegal cattle trafficking from a few weeks, had been erecting barricades at various places at night and were closely watching the vehicles. As the thieves knew about it, they tried to hoodwink the police personnel by easily carrying beef in milk crates loaded in the milk vehicles. The beef was meant to be supplied to hotels and shops where there is good demand for beef, it is gathered.

Dear Dinesh, these jobless BD goons will not object beef export by sanghi owners coz. these BD goondas are the one who supply live animals to them. These goondas steal animals in the name of Go Rakshaks and transport to Gujrat with the help of authorities. Everything is going on smoothly as none will question them. All check posts are informed in advance to avoid any checking of vehicles.

Bee ban or cow slaughter ban only for election purpose.
Why our Millions of Desh bhakts and other organization do not write to PM or BJP head quarters to stop exporting Beef to foreign countries. In the mean time take advantage on common people and harass the minorities in the name of cow sentiments. Their double and fake sentiments are clearly understood.

The meat is destined to be supplied to hotels in city, where there is high demand for Beef.

Now, who runs the hotels in the city ? Minorities ???
Who eats in city hotels ? Only Minorities ??

Common people, because you guys are eating, its being served in city hotels. Why do you people are chasing it as if it's being taken to Madrasas ?? Hmm ???

Why you guys couldn't follow without their knowledge till it's delivered, and caught them red handed while purchasing it ?? Hypocrites !

    You mean,
If there is high demand for drugs, drug supply should be allowed..

I find a problem of illogical things in your comment...

RSRB, What are talking ? If there is high demand of drugs, grow them in your backyard, terrace, even 20x30 plots in Bangalore covered by high rise walls all around. In Gulbarga, a Bellary based man leased hundreds of acres to grow Ganja.

We are illiterates when it comes to grow/supply drugs. But, Beef is food to many people who can't afford mutton paying more that 600/- per kg.

    Quote- unquote

"The beef was meant to be supplied to hotels and shops where there is good demand for beef,"

As long as there are bribe takers , there are bribe givers there is no end to this.
