Mangalore: Dereliction of Duty - MCC Official Ganesh Suspended

Mangalore, Apr 24: Mangalore City Corporation’s assistant executive engineer, Ganesh has been suspended following allegations of indisciplinary behaviour and dereliction of duty.

Out of the 17 road concrete works in various parts of the city Ganesh was supposed to handle the works in 11 areas. The authorities had received several complaints from the public regarding the incomplete and careless way of works in these areas. 

Ganesh was informed about the same many a times and was also given written notice but he showed sheer negligence in discharging his duties. 

It has been alleged that Ganesh is chiefly responsible for the snail’s phase of road concreting in several areas of the city. Based on all these allegations Ganesh has been suspended from the position, said Commissioner of MCC Dr Vijayprakash.

    Its just a waste to suspend ganesh. after some days ganesh will again come back to the same post. MCC should make a rule to remove them from JOB
