Daijiworld Media Network - Beijing

Beijing, Nov 5: China has announced to temporarily suspend entry of foreign nationals in Indians holding valid Chinese visas or residence permits citing coronavirus reasons, the Chinese Embassy in India said on Thursday, November 5.

The Chinese Embassy also maintained they would not be putting a stamp on the health declaration forms for the holders of the above-mentioned categories of visa or residence permits, a report by ANI stated.

According to an official statement issued by the Embassy, "Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, it is hereby announced that China has decided to temporarily suspend the entry into China by foreign nationals in India holding valid Chinese visas or residence permits. The Chinese Embassy/ Consulates in India will not stamp the Health Declaration Forms for the holders of the above-mentioned categories of visa or residence permits."

The Embassy also said, "Foreigners holding Chinese diplomatic, service, courtesy and C visas are not affected. Foreigners with emergency or humanitarian who need to visit China can submit a visa application to the Chinese Embassy/ Consulates in India. The entry into China with visas issued after November 3 is not affected."

China will make further adjustment and announcement in accordance with the ongoing pandemic situation in a timely manner, the Embassy added.

The decision comes after almost 20 passengers of an Air India (AI) Vande Bharat Mission (VBM) Delhi-Wuhan flight of October 30 tested positive on arrival last week.

they have customised corona test for Indians... special test for Indians...

Chinese do not like/trust Indians... after Indo-china war of 1962 (which ended hindi cheeni bhai bhai and Panch Sheel) ...

still many Indians go to China through MNC companies / student visa etc. etc.

They are suspicious of Indians... they see Indian news/ messy events on TV and constantly make fun among themselves...

they clearly see that India has been far behind them in terms of living standards... Shanghai, Shenzen offer good life style and infra comparable to any good western city... in our cities , can still see vehicles fuming pollution, noise... Most vehicles on roads of China are electric and pollution and noise free....

    Irony of the century.
This should have been the other way around. They created, propagated and distributed the virus. At that time none of the state heads had the guts or common sense to ban these Chinese nationals from entering the rest of the world as carriers of the virus . As a result of this the whole world is paying the heavy price.
