Daijiworld Media Network - Mangaluru (SP)

Mangaluru, Nov 9: Sub-divisional officer, Madan Mohan C, has been reinstated as Mangaluru sub-divisional officer until further orders by the state government for public and administrative convenience.

The orders were issued with immediate effect.

The state government had transferred Madan Mohan on October 13 without showing him any place of posting, for implementing an order issued by Karnataka Administrative Tribunal. Ravichandra Nayak, joint executive director of Mangaluru Smart City, had been appointed in his place. But this appeal was later rejected by Karnataka Administrative Tribunal.

Therefore the state government, through an order dated November 6, reappointed Madan Mohan as Mangaluru sub-divisional officer.
