Youth from Udupi steals Rs 30 lac from ATM in Bengaluru, shares with parents

Daijiworld Media Network - Bengaluru (SP)

Bengaluru, Nov 13: A youth from the town who stole more than Rs 30 lac from an ATM had sent Rs 14 lac from the booty to his parents. The Udupi-based youth who stole this money was Vinay Jogi. He has been arrested by Byadarahalli police, Bengaluru.

Vinay Jogi used to work for Secure Value Agency which undertakes the work of replenishing cash in ATMs on behalf of banks. During the auditing conducted in August this year, it was found that there was a shortfall of Rs 30 lac. It was also noted that during that month, Vinay had absented from duty and had switched off his mobile phone.

The agency grew suspicious about Jogi and informed the police. A team of police led by inspector Rajeev, arrested Vinay after probing the matter. The police also succeeded in recovering Rs 25.5 lac from Jogi. Out of the stolen amount, he had sent Rs 14.5 lac by courier to parents. An amount of Rs 11 lac was remitted by him to accounts of people who had lent to him. All this money was recovered.

Vinay had switched off his mobile phone after stealing money and had changed his residence. But he used to call his girlfriend over phone once every day. On the basis of CDR call records verification and technical investigation, Vinay was arrested, said a senior officer.

A noble person will never get inspired by the evil acts that other people do. In fact he/she should get inspired not to repeat the same sin which the sinner has committed.

In fact a noble person should do good and be an example for the sinner to lead a good life.

Here the culprit has got inspired as you say by DKS. So now I ask you in what way is the above culprit different from DKS?

Did you take nationality test? Don't ever blame caste or religion for the undoing of a individual. Jogi in coast Karnataka is a reliable and backword cast. First you come out of fakugiri. Have a chai and chant.

    @ Balaa sir...,

Can you enlighten how to measure the nationality test..., I got this word b'coz of me watching prime time Dombarata shows...!!!, How to take that test is too much confusing..., Example: if banned meat is exported by a business men of particular state can still be nationalist based on his political connection but not otherwise...!!!, While I totally agree that nationalism should be is above religious identity.., the toxic narratives by the prime time Dombarata shows by few media houses make every one totally confused.., like me and you (if I am not mistaken...,

For our good I/we should take it lightly & humourously..,else our BP/sugar level etc., will fluctuate, And as you suggested Chai is the best destressing quotient..., let me have it...as you rightly suggested...

This gentleman is following 101% FAKE & CHEAT slogans like "ATMA-NIRBHAR BHART...(STEAL MONEY FROM OWN CITIZENS) from.......illiterate dumb Pradhan Sevak...

In all front failed, India 2nd in worst-hit COVID-19...whereas our tiny and weak neighbours like Srilanka-Bangladesh-Nepal-Bhutan-PK is very far and above from us by controlling & managing COVID-19 by High-class motorized sanitizing each & every village by providing free mask & immune booster tablets / Vitamin tablets. In India....we have been told to do... idiotic action like...."LIGHT BUJAO-THALI BAJAO-MOMBATTI JALAO" (लाइट बजाओ-ताली बजाओ-मोमबत्ती जलाओ-और सो जाओ) Bangladesh-Nepal-Bhutan's GDP is very higher than INDIA & Bangladesh export is higher than INDIA.

Yesterday RBI Governor (Shaktikanta Das....just BA pass in History subject) informed at a press conference that INDIA Technically in Rececession -16% after 9-months, which is also wrong and cheating %. Actually, 2021 GDP is -23%.

I read this in Times of India. In Mumbai, three thieves came to a house knowing there was money inside the house. Showing the knives, they took all the cash which about Rs 3 lakhs.

The elderly man fell to the feet of the gang leader and pleaded that money be returned to him since he borrowed that money for his daughter's wedding and showed him the invitation card. The gang leader felt pity and told his associate to return the money and he himself gave to the man Rs 2000 as the gift to his sister (He called her his sister).

Santhan Mascarenhas Kinnigoli,Santhan Parbule, you tell many good stories ,that like to read and enjoy.Thank you for it in these sad Corona days.Coming back to this fellow who stole money still had a soft corner to share his money with his parents. That find it good.He didnt runaway.Probably he was also a person earning less, and had to see lacs of Rupees going through his hand in ATM. So must have felt to "earn" some more money.I would like to know why Banks are letting a lay person to fill the ATM ,that too not security is not there, instead bank Personal self filling?
