Doha: Tulu Koota Qatar Appoints New Committee Members

Doha, May 16:  New executive committee members were appointed to Tulu Koota Qatar at the sixth annual general body meeting held at the Indian Cultural Centre on Friday May 13.

Divakar Poojary compered the programme. Ravi Shetty, the outgoing president welcomed the gathering. General secretary Dinesh Chandra Shetty briefed on the annual general report and treasurer Prakash Rao presented the financial report.

Ravi Shetty acknowledged all the outgoing committee members, volunteers and their families for lending a helping hand in all the activities during his tenure.  Former president Prakash Ajila lauded the services of the outgoing committee members and in particular thanked Ravi Shetty for his dedication and true leadership towards the club.

ICC president –K M Varghese was the returning officer and after reviewing the nominations he announced the new managing committee for the year 2010-2012. 

 

The new office-bearers include Ramachandra Shetty Pejawara as president, Asmath Ali as vice-president, Sandesh Anand as general secretary, Seetharam Shetty as treasurer, Archana Navaneeth Shetty as cultural secretary, Kiran Anand as sports secretary, Della A Rego as joint secretary and Vani Prakash Rao as ladies co-ordinator.

The newly appointed president Ramachandra Shetty introduced the new committee members and requested the gathering to render their support to the new committee during their tenure. Vivian D’Souza proposed the vote of thanks.
