Dennis Quaid Piles on Pounds for Bill Clinton Role

Los Angeles, May 17 (IANS): Hollywood actor Dennis Quaid had to binge on junk food in a bid to pile on pounds for his role as former US president Bill Clinton in a new film.

The star portrays the ex-leader in upcoming movie, "The Special Relationship", opposite Michael Sheen as former British prime minister Tony Blair, and he had to gain 16 kg for the part.

The star admits he gorged himself "like a baby on a feeding schedule" in order to bulk up, reports imdb.com.

"I could have worn a suit to enhance my weight but I didn't want to go that route. I did it the way he (Clinton) did. I went to McDonald's every day," Quaid said.
