Kasargod: One person killed, three injured in auto rickshaw-van collision

Kasargod, Dec 5: A person died and three others injured in a tragic accident that occured between an auto rickshaw and Omni van at Arlapadav, a border area between Kerala and Karnataka, on Saturday December 5.

The deceased Rama (42), was a resident of Adoor, Koyakoodlu. His relatives Shashi and Ashwin and the auto rickshaw driver Mohammed were injured in the mishap.

The accident took place while they were returning after inviting relatives at Vaninagar to a programme that was to be held at the residence of Rama.

Three people were thrown out from the auto rickshaw due to impact of the collision. Rama, who was seriously injured succumbed to injuries while being rushed to a hospital in Puttur. The three injured were admitted to Puttur hospital.
